The PowerNet RM UPS features line interactive topology with pure sine wave output, which is the ideal sine wave for sensitive electronics in a rack/tower form factor best suited for rack cabinets. This is the most cost-effective solution to achieve pure sine wave output. Reliable power protection with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) stabilizes incoming utility power fluctuations, surge protection and spike protection, software for monitoring, and fast battery recharging makes this the ideal cost-effective solution for its high-efficiency design to reduce energy consumption and heat buildup. Programmable outlets for load segment control prioritizes backup time for more mission-critical equipment. Optional external battery bank extends the runtime of connected equipment.

    Typical Applications
    • Small Servers • Home Networking Equipment • PBX & VoIP Equipment
    • Home Theater Equipment • Retail Stores & Kiosks • Server Rooms
    • Data Closets • Educational Institutions • Home and Small Business Surveillance System

    Main Features
    (8) Battery Backup & Surge Protected Outlets
Provides battery power in the event of a power disturbance outside the acceptable UPS threshold to supply connected equipment enough power to safely shut down. This helps prevent data loss and decreases likelihood of component stress due to sudden shutdown. These outlets also protect connected electronics from transient surges and spikes.

    Sine Wave Output
Line interactive topology with sine wave output for an affordable solution to protect sensitive electronics. Sine wave output is the optimal waveform for electronics, especially sensitive electronics.

    Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Provides consistent, clean power to connected electronics by monitoring and adjusting incoming utility power for minor voltage fluctuations instead of switching over to battery power.

    Active Power Factoring Compensation (APFC)
Improves the power factor of the UPS under fluctuating load conditions to improve current-carrying capacity, reduce power loss, and improve voltage to connected equipment. The overall benefits include better power efficiency to reduce electricity bill.

Intelligent Slot for Optional SNMP or AS400 Card
Have peace-of-mind with optional SNMP and AS400 card for the built-in intelligent slot for remote monitoring and control of the UPS.

    LCD Screen and Control Panel
Provides real-time UPS and power conditions such as input/output voltages, AVR Mode, Fault, and other important operating conditions. Control panel is useful to access different real-time information and to mute/unmute the audible alarm.

    Fits Standard 19" Rack Cabinets
19" wide and 2U height for standard rack-mount or tower setup.

    Audible Alarm
An audible alert sounds if the UPS is experiencing an abnormal condition such as Battery Mode, Low Battery, and other important conditions.

To mute the audible alarm, press the Mute button on the control panel. Press the Mute button again to unmute.
      Microprocessor-Controlled (MCU)
Increases performance and reliability of UPS functions and features.

    Emergency Power Off (EPO)
Instantly cut-off power to the UPS and connected equipment in the event of an emergency.

    External Battery Bank Option
Add-on an external battery bank for extended backup time for critical electronic equipment.

    Power Management Software
Free software available for download to help monitor and control the UPS via USB or RS232 connection.

    Load Segment Control
Prioritize battery power usage during a power disturbance so your most important electronics continue to be power when the main power fails.

Auto Restart When Utility Power Returns
The UPS will automatically restart operation after utility power is restored and battery is in good condition if a prolonged power outage completely depletes the battery.

    Cold Start Function
Allows powering on the UPS without utility power. This is useful if you need to turn on the UPS during a power outage or failure to use battery power.

    Off-Mode Charging
The UPS will continue to charge its internal batteries while powered off as long as it is plugged into a working AC mains outlet.

    Ethernet/Phone/Fax/DSL Data Line Surge Protection
RJ-11/45 combo jacks suppress data line surges.

    Warranty (US & Canada)
       • 3-year repair or replace UPS warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
       • 2-year battery warranty.
       • $25,000 connected equipment warranty if it is damaged due to a power surge.

See the Terms & Conditions page for additional information.
